Trainers in danger
The killer whale is called the "killer" whale for a reason. This mammal is more dangerous than a great white shark. The killer whale is able to hunt down a great white shark and kill it in a heart beat. So why are we putting humans in the same tank with them? There have been numerous occasions where a killer whale has turned on its trainer. For example, the killer whale called Tillikum. Tillikum has attacked her trainers three times for being provoked. Tillikum has killed all of her trainers every time. So what happens next? Do we dare put another trainer in the same tank with that whale? I say we just let her free. Why should we punish a whale for being a whale? Why would we continue to hold her in captivity if she is just going to sit there and do nothing. Tilikum and the rest of the killer whales should be free.
actual incident
A forty year old woman was killed in Shamus tank by the killer whale Tillikum. This was not Tillikums first attack. In 1999, Tillikum was blamed for killer a twenty seven year old man. He was found floating on his back in Tillikums tank.
