free the whales
Orca whales were meant to be free and not to be held in a tank. Tests have shown that orca whales feel disconnected to the rest of their species when they are in a training tank. Orca whales also try to insert dominance with other whales in the tank. They do this by running into the new whale. Sometimes these whales miss and run into the wall of the tank. This can cause the whale serious danger to their head. This sometimes can lead to the whale dying because of brain damage.
The graph above shows the average trends of the killer whale lifespan. As you can clearly see, the graph seriously decreases in the year 1961. That was the year when man really started to interact with the killer whales by hunting them and putting them into captivity. The killer whales population has started to slowly go down ever since. If man doesn't take a hard look at what they are doing and stop harming these whales, they will be gone before we can do anything about it.
